The hidden cost of desk work

Sitting all day is a workplace hazard — it just doesn't look like one.

Musculoskeletal strain from prolonged sitting and poor posture is one of the most common — and most preventable — drivers of pain, absenteeism, and lost focus in office teams.

42–69%
of office workers report neck pain; 30–50% report low-back pain, largely from prolonged sitting and posture.
~⅓
of all lost-time work injuries are musculoskeletal disorders — the single largest category of workplace injury.
40–70%
reduction in pain reported by office workers in a structured workplace stretching study, alongside fewer days missed.

Questions

Frequently asked

What space and setup do we need to provide?

A private or semi-private room — roughly 150–200 sq ft per Flexologist for a table, plus a little space for group stretches. We bring tables, bands, mats, and sanitation supplies. You provide the room and Wi-Fi; we handle the rest.

Is this safe? What about liability?

Sessions are led by certified Flexologists and are assisted stretching — not medical treatment, diagnosis, or physical therapy. We carry full general and professional liability insurance, use participant waivers and a quick health screen, and follow an incident-reporting protocol. We're happy to provide our insurance and safety packet for your procurement and legal teams.

How do employees sign up?

Through a simple online booking link with automated reminders and waitlists. We can segment by team or shift and rotate morning/afternoon slots to maximize access.

What about employee privacy?

We never share individual health information with the employer. You receive only anonymized, aggregate participation and satisfaction metrics — enough to see the program is working, nothing that identifies an individual.

How do we know it's working?

Each month you get a report covering utilization (slots booked, unique employees served, repeat rate) and experience (before/after tension scores, satisfaction). During a pilot we agree on the success metrics up front.

Can we start small?

Yes — most companies begin with a 90-day pilot at a single building, month-to-month. If the utilization and feedback are there, we expand to more days or buildings at a pre-agreed rate.

Start with a no-commitment 90-day onsite pilot at one of your Bay Area buildings.
